cornudog, you're thinking an indwelling or foley catheter, and yes it is uncomfortable for a male(think about it the female urethra's 2-3 inches a male's is 7-8). However they do make a catheter for males that just slides on like a condom, aka a condom or Texas catheter, which uses the same tubing and bag as a foley. Now to answer this original question, if they have to go they go, highly unlikely since they're dehydrated, but still.
