my cuestion is can i use a cv axle whit abs brakes in a car out this sistem. can i put out the abs gear and use it in a car out this brakes sistem
I would say get metal. you get to pick different donut rubber band colors each month When you get the ceramic yeah your braces wont be as noticable but you still see them. AND if your teeth are not completly white then you notice the ceramic braces, you also dont get to pick colorful rubber bands.
the best part is picking cool colours :) Go with the ones that are easier to clean. People will notice you have braces anyway and they'll be less of a hassle.
No please use have your cv rebuilt. its like 50 bucks
NO the ABS CV Axle Assemblies do not work on vehicles without ABS, you can go to just about any parts store (Pep boys, Advanced) and pick one up for about $60. Don't bother having it rebuilt just turn in the old one as a core and just get one already done much faster. I have put my fair share of these in and trust me just do it right the first and you will be much better off.
ABS reluctor (gear) you call it won't hurt a thing. Many axle shops use late model CV joints and parts and it makes it easier to put reluctor wheels on all the axles for cars with ABS or not. If your axle was clicking you cannot rebuild it because there is slack between the balls and races. Because dirt and grit worn the races. Come on just be careful don't drop the new axle on its boots you will cause a small pinch slit to develop and leakage will result. Handle the new axle very care full when out of it's box. (are you done yet) Hurry up you have to get cleaned up. Very dirty job. Torque the main axle nut to 175 to 210 foot pounds. Two strut bolts to 75 to 90 ft lbs
