I pulled a nail out of my motorcycle tire and its not leaking, should I still replace the tire?

Answer:

sounds like the nail did not go through the tire what is the shape of the tire? if it is in bad shape replace it . if the tire is in good shape take soapy water and make sure it is not leaking
If you can see the flaw from the outside, or feel the puncture by running your hand inside the tire when it's off the wheel, the carcass is compromised, and you're taking a chance by doing a repair. It could possibly fail at high speeds or when hot. It could fail at the worse possible moment. If you putt along at low speeds like a cruiser, no fast cornering, no heavy braking, just rolling along nice and easy, you might be OK. If you have a sport bike and ride it as one, please replace the tire. You can't put a price on your safety.
