I seem to have a hole in my muffler, would it be easier to get a new muffler or get a catback exhaust system?

I have a 2002 Mistang GT and there seems to be a hole in my muffler. Wondering if its easier to replace the muffler or just get a new catback exhaust system?

Answer:

Hi yes just get a new muffler fitted.
there can be many things wrong.this happened with my rat it may depend on the size of the wheel and the hamster.and if its a good size then i think you should give it size to ajust. hamsters have to get use to it .so keep it with the rat for a couple of days hope i helped ]] please vote this as the best ]
Get the hamster one of those clear plastic balls to put them in they will love the time out of the cage!
Get under there and take a look at the pipes. Poke them gently with a screwdriver. If the pipes are in bad shape, putting a new muffler on there isn't a good idea. If they're still solid, just get a muffler.
Auto parts stores sell this silica sealant stuff that you can patch an exhaust hole with . I had a noisy hole in my catalytic converter and fixed it with the sealant several months ago and it's still quiet.
