What is the application you are looking to apply this to? I ask because the sensors in cameras mimic (to a degree) the way the human eye works. So in most cases if your eye can see through so can the sensor on a camera. The exception would be if you were to use a polarizing filter on the camera lens and a rotated sheet of polarized material on the glass you want obscured. But the lens MUST have a polarizing filter fitted!
