Question:

If I use aluminum foil as an armature for sculpey, will I need to leave holes to the outside?

In my art class we always had to leave holes to the outside when using normal clay or it would explodeThis was with a hollow insideSo if there's foil inside a sculpey model, will it explode without the holes too?

Answer:

Don't use cork use super-balls, just take the black thing off the top of the bat and stuff super balls in it then glue the top back onUse good glue like gorilla glue you don't want the top flying off and those super balls flying everywhere
I played in a league this summer where the other team obviously either corked their bats or used illegal batsIf you're planning on using them in an actual league, don't because people will notice when you barely swing and the ball clears the fence by about 50 feetI've never seen a church softball game almost come to a brawl before that.
NoAlso, be sure that its thick enoughPolymer clay has a tendency to get small (surface) cracks in itMake it to thin and you will have holes in your sculpture!
Pop the top of it off and put a tennis ball and a couple of super bounce balls in it but make sure you glue the top back on so the balls dont fly out when you make contact
