Question:

If we were to classify a dolomitized limestone under Folk or Dunham classification, what would it be?

The dolomitized limestone thin section only contains dolomite crystals and oolites that has lost its internal features because it is highly dolomitized.

Answer:

I don't use Folk but it would either be a Sparse or Packed Oolitic Dolomicrite or Oolitic Dolosparite depending on the relative proportion of each in the matrix or where the matrix has been cemented by Spar, In Dunham (modified Dunham) it would be either a Dolomite after an original Oolitic Wackestone, or Packstone or Grainstone, depending on the absolute amont of mud (micrite) in the matrix. The level of recrystallization doesn't matter in either.
