If you have a 1995 fire extinguisher that doesn't need hydro until 2007. Can you hydro it this year?

Please explain to me. I know your not suppost to hydro it until 2007, but some peep's tell me otherwise.

There are certain adapters you can buy that will convert your old galvanized pipes to pvc or cpvc and it is a whole lot easier than changing everything out. You will need a male and female adapter to complete this. You can find all of the things you will need for this at any hardware store that sales pipe such as Lowes and Home Depot.

I believe it's called a threaded barbell ball. Hope this helped :)
