Question:

Im pregnant and there may be carbon monoxide in the house!!?

My dad is an idiot, he installed a woodburning stove in the house and the pipe from the top of it goes up thru the ceiling thru my room and thru the roof. problem is, the pipe is right next to my bed, and theres no where else i can move the bed. Im 33 weeks pregnant and this woodburning stove was just installed last night.Last night i was up all night with headaches from the smell, and nosebleeds, and a bit dizzy. i just got home from work, and opened the window in my room even tho its like 20 degrees out, but its to let the smell out. i was talkin to a friend whos an EMT and he said there may be carbon monoxide from it. im getting a CO2 detector tomorrow, but what can we do about it if there IS co2 in the house? he spent a lot of money installing it, and while its not worth our lives, hes gonna be PISSED at me (we were already fighting about it.)What steps do you take if you find co2 in your house? ANy other tips or advice or info??

Answer:

FAR far away, the lane is usually painted but not always, I think the legal space is 12 feet, but I just got a ticket and was 14.1 ft away form the darned thing! Fighting tickets saves a bit of cash, but often even if you are in the right you lose the contesting of the ticket and get stuck not only paying the fine, but a charge as well. My ticket said I have a white benz, I have a yellow one, there was a white benz parked in front of me with NO ticket..and yep, I checked it was my plates on the ticket..sad
Simple answer to your question: No, the universe is not a flat plane that bends with gravity. You are assuming that space was naturally flat, then became curved. Space has ALWAYS been curved. The main features of Einstein's General Theory of Relativity are: 1. Space and space-time are not rigid arenas in which events take place. They have form and structure which are influenced by the matter and energy content of the universe. 2. Matter and energy tell space (and space-time) how to curve. 3. Space tells matter how to move. In particular small objects travel along the straightest possible lines in curved space (space-time). link below is the source for the more information about gravity and space-time.
Muratic acid will eat a little of the concrete. It depends on how old the concrete is and how hard you scrub it. Baking soda will neutralize the muratic acid though. But I have never used it to remove paint. I have used a pressure washer many of times though and it is not very hard but it is time consuming. If it is only a little paint I would try some paint thinner or like the person above said through some dirt on it. If it is a lot you can pressure wash it. Both the muratic acid and the pressure wash is going to have to be done to the whole driveway or you will have noticeable difference in the color of the concrete. One part will be a lot cleaner from the pressure wash( which depending on where you live probably wont last that long) and the muratic may give a different texture if you scrub it or it is fresh concrete. Either way I would have the kid at least help you.
You are required to park twelve feet from a fire hydrant. There are some really tough cops, so even being eleven feet away from a hydrant can cause your car to be towed, so you really have to be careful.
