Question:

Im taking my rear tire off (yamaha R6) to patch it.?

After I put everything back on, how manny pounds do I need to torque the nut of the wheel?

Answer:

80ft/lbs But, be aware that no tire manufacturer recommends repairing a punctured tire (on record). Off record, the advice is that you use Only a plug-patch, applied from the inside and Only if it's within the center 1/3rd of the tire. Even then, you lose 1 speed rating. You don't want just a patch due to the nature of motorcycle tires (they flex and patches tend to break loose in tires that flex), and I wouldn't trust my bike/well being to a sticky rope plug applied to the outside. Others can, but I want them to ride ahead of me so they don't crash into me.
they would slow your car down obviously, depends on the weight though, but what will happen is that you will EAT through your brakes in no time at all since big rims have tendencies to turn brand new brake pads into dust in no time at all.
Probably. You have to compare the overall circumference with the originals. The best way around this would be to change the rear gears to compensate. The axles may not take the added strain though.
that is a very fast sport bike i would not use a hot patch or a plug i would replace that tire! or I would put a tube in it!
Do NOT plug this tire.A tire plug further damages your tire during installation. A tire with a plug in it is prone to tread separation. This is a high speed machine, not noise making cruiser, small hole and a patch OK, large hole, replace tire. 65-70 lbs.
