never let metal jewelry touch water. any kind of liquid. so take off metal jewelry off when you know its gonna be hot. - the sweat - i think metal jewelry not only smells like metal, but i think it rusts and turns brown.. so be careful! oh and the smell, put your jewelry in a tiny box of perfume samples, or a box that smells like perfume for about a day or two. (not only will it not smell like metal, it smells like your favorite perfume!, if your using your fav. one) if you wash it the smell will still be there, so don't waste your time washing it.
Well, get different quality jewlery, seal them in an airtight space. and If all else fails, spray on a bit of perfume.
