Question:

Information about pure metals?

Explain how a pure metal is held together. (Include a definition of a metallic bond in your explanation). I'm not so worried about the information in the parenthesis but I do need to know how a pure metal is held together. The more detailed the explanation the better.

If you're digging melodic and folk music, I think you want to go much older with your metal. I'm talking old blow-the-dust-off-it stuff here: Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Sabbath, even Zeppelin, and see what that does for you. That stuff is actually very folk-influenced itself, and involves much more melody than any of the 'core' genres. Honestly I don't know how people keep up with all these labels nowadays. Post-hardcore, deathcore, snotcore, rapcore, discocore, etc. must get really confusing. Back when those old dogs were doing it (even though most of them are still doing it), it was just called rock or heavy metal and that was that. Anyway, give the dinosaur-core stuff I mentioned a listen, and see if it lights any fires for you.
