Question:

Installing a dishwasher in an old house. Plumbing question?

I need to find the hot water line, but they are not visible under the sink. I do see the waste line going through the back wall. Will I have to punch through this wall to tap into the line. Assuming it is old galvanized pipe, what special fittings will I need to connect to new dishwasher. thanks.

Answer:

dry chem extinguishers are often baking soda with nitrogen or CO2 under pressure, neither of which is toxic. If it were pale yellow, it could be ammonium phosphate, used in ABC extinguishers, which is more corrosive. spraying some was a very bad idea because you have broken the seal and thus rendered the remaining pressure and chemical questionable for any safety purpose. Either discard it or have it serviced by a competent (certified) extinguisher company.
rip everything up and safety pin it all back together, wear things on top of one another, wear things inside out but snip off the label and baggy things are always fun doc martins shoes, braces (the clothing kind), leather studded jackets, misfits are a popular punk band hope i helped :)
Legally, I don't know. I sure as hell would NOT pay him to do it. It's easy ,IF you can get to the S/D's. All you have to do on new ones is push the compartment door open. On older models, twist the S/D off it's base. Just follow the arrows on the face of the unit. Replace the batteries. USE Duracell's please. Push the door closed or twist the unit back onto it's base. righty-tighty:lefty-loosey $20.00, not no, but hell no!
