I bought a storage locker unit and there was an iPhone4, its unlocked but has the email lock part. Is there anyway to fix that on my own? or do i have to go to the apple store with a fake bill of sale or something? thanks

What is the definition of a correct manner or how late were you in returning the keys to your landlord after moving out? Your landlord would be entitled to change the locks, when the keys were not returned in a timely manner. She may not charge an arm and a leg for the changing of the locks. She may also charge for the labor in addition to the cost of the lock and keys. Most states require a receipt of the work completed be given to the former tenants. It is good to challenge things you think are unfair. Some of this was your making. Had you returned the keys in a timely manner the landlord would not have had reason to charge you for the changing of the lock. If you are of mind to challenge this on principle then it would cost more in time and money. You be required pay court cost and possible still be required to pay the cost of the lock change. Count this as a lesson learned. When in a similar situation, you must make arrangements for the finality of all transactions when moving. One is to allow time to return the keys.
