Question:

Iron pictures onto posterboard?

I am making a project where I am glueing with a glue stick pictures on stock-card(thick paper) onto a poster board but they are not perfectly flat. Can I iron them or will it cause a problem like the ink melting?

Answer:

Buy fresh batteries all around. The ones you used to replace the dead battery are probably old. This is the time of year that they should be replaced, so that's probably why they are failing at about the same time. Also, if you are in a newer home, they may all be wired together so that if one is disabled they all start beeping. Do not leave your smoke detectors disabled, it's just not safe. And finally, if they are also carbon monoxide detectors, you might want to have your furnace checked.
You should have a meeting, show her the evidence and then tell her what you are going to do. Before the meeting decide if she can get another job or at least is she married w/kids and determine if you fire her she will get unemployment compensation. Also know you should not give her a bad reference and just move n if you want her to resign. So several options are there.
Talk to her first. Tell her the jig is up. She is caught. See what she says. If she continues to deny it and lie about it. Fire her right away. If she starts to be honest. Tell her you can give her a warning. But if she does anything like that again. She would be terminated right away without questions. Ask her to sign an agreement saying she wont do it again. Its a pretty major issue i wont lie. I would have a hard time trusting her again if she did that. Once you lose someones trust in that way. Its hard to get it back.
I would give her a warning first. Tell her she's been caught doing it, and warn her she'll be fired if caught again. Then keep a close eye on her. It may scare her straight, or she may leave of her own accord. But its far better to warn first then fire later if it continues. Or come up with a new system for writing in hours. maybe only allow management to do it on behalf of employees?
LOL Here you are asking teenagers, trolls and other assorted strangers on YA what do in with an employee yet a month or so ago you posted and then you claimed to have a VP of HR..Now if anyone deserves to be fired in my opinion its your VP of HR, who apparently seems unable to advise you on this matter !
