The American Geophysical Union released a study last week which documents increases in the size and number of fires in the US West.
I would look for the alarm brain under the steering column area. Most car alarms have a separate little box that wires to the alarm called a shock sensor. Sometimes if you bang on the steering wheel, you will see a little light come on in this little box. I would just unplug that box, or turn down the sensitivity dial (or screw) on the shock sensor box. Some alarms, like the cheaper viper models, have the sensor built into the alarm brain. In this case, there will be a sensitivity dial/screw sticking out the side of the main alarm module. Good Luck!
