Question:

Is Ferric the same as Iron?

I am doing a project in chemistry and I am trying to write a formula for the compound Ferric Phosphate. Would this be the same as Iron Phosphate? Thanks so much for your help!

Answer:

check for a full size spare and run that someting wrong with that rim, maybe.take to tire man and have him check, otherwise you drive bad,!!! lol
Ferric Iron is Iron in the +3 ionic state. Therefore it is denoted as Iron (III). Furthermore, Ferrous ions are Iron (II). Therefore, since Phosphate is -3 charged and Ferric is +3, your compound is Iron (III) Phosphate.
