I am wondering if it somehow might say, put aluminum on my food !
i store all my food in glass containers. vegetables and fruits do not necessarily need to be stored in closed containers, unless they,ve been cooked. i avoid aluminum foil for most things,as it is unnecessary to use it. covering acidic , cooked foods (chili) with foil will cause the foil to corrode.
As everyone says, you can use it to wrap something dry or fatty, as the aluminum will not dissolve or corrode. If the food is moist and/or acidic, don't use aluminum foil. You can use it to cover cups of pudding in the fridge, since it does not touch the food. But it is generally not air-tight. You can use plastic film to wrap anything that will dry out, such as cheese or smoked fish. If you are nervous about anything being in contact with your food, wrap it in a bit of wax paper first and then the plastic film. That is pretty much the way your deli wraps things.
Hey, Actually we are not putting aluminum on the food, we're just using it to cover it. Certain foods like sandwiches, and other baked food will remain fresh and free of germs when you wrap it in a foil. But you know aluminum is a metal and Yes! metals react with food items, Foil is made of aluminum and this metal can react with foods, especially acid-based (pH below 7) foods or salted foods. While this is not harmful to consume, most people do not like eating spotted foods. an example: You never use metal spoons in a Pickle jar! simple it reacts with the pickle brine solution. Its up to you, there are many other ways to keep food fresh like using oil papers. Whatever you use the aim is simple - Keep foods airtight. :) Thank you, Hope this helped.
You know aluminum is harmful for health.
