Is it a funny prank for a college student to pull the fire alarm in the hallway during final exams?
2 days is not really enough time to plan for a home birth. With your next, I would definitely look into home birth as an option. I had a beautiful home birth with my third, and would not choose to birth any other way. Studies show that, for low risk women, home births are just as safe as hospital births, and that home births have less incidents of injury to mother and baby than hospital births.
how do you know you are having it in 2 days? Are you being induced? If so , I would suggest going to the hospital since inductions are notorious for leading to all sorts of other complications and interventions. But I am going to assume you have done your research on the matter, you have a midwife who is equip ed to and registered to attend home births, your house has been cleaned , prepared and the birth supplies are ready ( lots of clean towels, rubber sheet, heating pads, maternity pads, peri bottle, drinks and snacks for you and your birth attendants , gauze , those lovely mesh panties, etc. etc. IF all those things are in place and you are just nervous about doing it at home, but are having a normal uncomplicated pregnancy, and everything with baby looks good well then I can't recommend it enough! I had a home birth ( water) with my 2nd and it was just perfect. Would do it again in a heartbeat. If you are not prepared to have your baby at home- physically, AND emotionally then it's best to go with the hospital and have a home birth for your next one :) good luck!
Any heat isn't good for your hair. Unless you are using the cold setting on your blow dryer, it's damaging your hair.
