Question:

is it a house alarm or a fire alarm?

so me and my friend were checking out the new houses for sale behind my house and we found a window that was open so she jumped in and a few seconds after she got in we heard a beep noisewas it low batteries in maybe a fire alarm or was it a house alarm and we shouldn't go back?

Answer:

Place an alarm clock that RING in your bed-near your pillow. This is usually the type of alarm clock that runs on batteries and you wind it. It will jar you out of your sleep. I have trouble getting up as well. I found that the waking to music or a soft buzz did not do the trick. If you have a cell phone you can also place this in your bed and have the alarm go off with a ringmake it as loud as possible.
