Answer:

yes you still need the original push rods in it even if you change the cam shaft in it, adding a longer push rod bottoms the rocker arms out and that's whats causing the studs to break off,i been though it on mine before, i also own a 327 and they all use the 7.8 push rods,regardless of what cam it has in it,adding a larger cam won't make the lift that much more on it, all the looseness is taken out in the adjustment ,but by using larger push rods you don't have no adjustment left and that's why its keep breaking them,good luck on it
first tell ur wife how it work and what or the advantage, don't tell any disadvantage for which see will reject, tell more advantage and give some example where it is fix in near by place for name sack,
i have the same problem, i use my cell phone for an alarm clock and i always hit the snooze button thinking that ill just rest my eyes for a minute and i end up sleeping for half an hour and missing/being late for school. worst of all the alarm is really low, i don't know why, even though i set it as high as it can go im a deep sleeper so that's another one of my problems. i would say 1. sleeping early 2. opening your blinds or curtains to let more sun in to wake you up 3. getting a lot, and i mean A LOT of alarm clocks. as many as you have and set them a little earlier as your back up alarms so either all the noise is going to wake you up or you're going to have a hard time hitting the snooze button on all of them you'll eventually wake up. 4. move the alarm clock somewhere where you can still hear it and you can still wake up from it but you'll have to get up to turn it off and once you turn it off im guessing you'll just crawl back into bed so just keep a very cold glass of water next to the alarm so you can drink it and wake yourself up. 5. is anyone else awake before you are? if yes then ask them to wake you up and make sure you're awake so you're not late for work again. 6. if you have a noisy dog that will bark for any noise, lets say an alarm clock going off, you know the rest. 7. and last but not least, have a cup cake thats at the other side of the room, you'll have to wake up to go and eat the yummy cup cake. you know you want toooo ;) also for me its especially hard to get up when its really cold and all you wanna do is go back to sleep in the nice, warm bed. but you have to go to stupid school/work.
i hv somemwhat the same problem but i am more determined than you,i guess.i keep my alarm far away from my bed so that each time it rings,i HAVE to get up and put it off.when you get up from your bed,you wouldn't like to go back,trust me.try it.all the best.i think you should also go to bed early.we all need atleast 9 hours of sleep
