Is it fine to put a twin mattress topper on a twin xl bed?

Answer:

If she was bred before you got her say in March she should be foaling lin Feb. You do not have much time to prepare. Watch for her udder to start filling, when she gets pretty close say one week if you tap with you fingers on each side of the tailhead, it will feel real sloppy, then it will get more that way down on the insides of he thighs below her tail. Sure is nice to have real clean place for her to foal, If you are not there and cannot get Iodine or medication on the imbicial cord soon a fter the foal is born it can have bacteria go into the foal through the cord and he could get a disease called navel ill. There will be infection in the joints. You cannot fix it.
I hope these are useful to you, and good luck with whatever you decide to do! I make no claims to be an expert, but I hope some of this will help you anyway. xx
been there done that.. SUPRISE!!!! what I did was contact the dealer and he pointed me to her last home.. which pointed me to the home before that.. who Actually had bred her. Those nice people sent me the breeding certificate and her registration papers. The other thing I did was talk to the vet. he came out and gave me a good idea of how far along she was. and called me so I could attend a birth with him at a local T-Bred stud farm. I actually helped with 3 at the stud so I would be ready. My mare was a tricky girl. She showed all the signs and we watcher her like a hawk for 5 days. Finally snuck out to have lunch thinking she would wait till night ( and she showed no real signs so we though it had been false labor),,came back and there was a foal. your vet is your best friend in this.
It's like taking a Taxi. You can ask - but I wouldn't expect much. (Edit: I should clarify - it IS taking a taxi.)
