I don't know if its my battery or charger but a month ago, it stayed at 21% and not charging, but when I pulled out my charger it would turn off instantly. But a few weeks ago, it suddenly dropped to 0% and its still not charging.
even if the laptop battery is dead your computer should still be running with the charger pluged in.
To find out remove the battery then plug the power adapter charge into the laptop and plug it into a wall outlet and power on the laptop if it works the power adapter is good. You can run the laptop 24/7 off the power adapter with or with out a battery installed.
