Is it ok if some thermal paste oozed out from beside the CPU?

I just applied thermal paste to my CPU and installed a new coolerWhen tightening the tension bracket under the CPU Cooler, a little thermal paste oozed out like on the edge of the CPU.I wiped it with some tissue and its mostly gone but if anything theres like small marks or so near the CPU edge that cant be reachedIs it safe to just leave it like that? Theere isnt alot, if any, im just making sure if everything is safe just incase there's a little left on the edges.Thanks!!

Hello You shold not be worry if your thermal paste is not conductive.Meaning that is not made using metal as a cooling method such as Artic silver 5IF you us a silicon or ceramic base thermal paste mostly color white, there is no worryBut, if is color gray, that are mostly metallic base thermal paste, you should clean it, because it will conduct electricity to the motherboard and mad because a short circuit I hope this help you.
