No. Martin's family wants to, but if they do the defense will get to pry into his entire life. The judge won't be ruling that his text messages saying he was looking for a fight are inadmissible. Plus they will get to delve into his school records and any trouble he has ever been in. This will destroy his public image. For the sake of their son, they will let it go or he will he crucified in the public.

Of course there will be a civil suit.They are much easier to win,not needing to prove beyond a reasonable doubt.All that the jury must weigh is the preponderance of the evidence.In this case that is on record,and all that the defense used to acquittal him will now be used against him.All that must be proved is that he fired the gun.Just like O.J. they could not get him on the strict criminal laws,but could,and did get him on the easier case that he might have done it.They did not need beyond a reasonable doubt,only that there is enough evidence to conclude he might have done it.Two completely different courts with a different set of laws.Good luck to you.
