Question:

Is it okay to plug or patch Motorcycle tires?

I‘ve been getting alot of different answers from different people on this subject. I have a nail in my rear tire. I have some people saying it‘s okay to use a plug or patch and others saying I need to buy a new tire. Still others say just Slime it and it‘ll be fine. The tire is brand new (less than 1000 mi. on it) and I hate to have to buy another one already.

Answer:

You're supposed to ask ONE question! We mostly use electromagnets.
Go to your local library and check out a book on generators and one on alternators. Begining or simple texts on them. Learn how they operate.

get a proper tubless tyre repair done This is a patch with a long tail which you pull through the hole from the inside and so it is glued and seals all round. ULTRA SEAL will NOT RUST the inside of your wheel, and FEW STEEL WHEELS are tubeless anyway, NEVER PATCH PLUG or REPAIR a hole in the side wall. And consider using a Tube if there really is no option , BUT a compromise in the bracing of the tyre will probably puncture the tube anyway. Go to your local tyre fitter and get their oppinion You've only got one life why risk it for the cost of a decent repair or even a new tyre. Consider what you paid for your bike, and how much it would cost to repair ( let alone you) shouldyou get a blow out.
