Question:

Is it possible to notice a difference in motorcycle ride after new tires were placed on?

Got new tires. My first ride from he shop, felt different.like sluggish.like I needed to give more gas than usual to ride forward. Is this normal?

Answer:

You didn't say if you replaced the tire with an exact copy of the old one.If you changed brands or styles of tire, the sidewall construction may be different. If you went from a 130 to a wider 140 for example , you might be rubbing the fender now. Check for shiny patches indicating contact on the tire. If it was an exact replacement, I'd fall into line with all the other Answerers and say air pressure adjustment needed.
9K, THE O STICK ITS THE S***
the vapor xxxx if you dont believe me check it out on google its sweet
For the first 50 miles you should not be pushing new tyres, they need a good 50 miles of regular road use to clear away the protective, slightly greasy film that is used to release the tyre from the mould. However you should also make certain that the pressures are accurate. Have you chosen a different profile? You can get a V-shape and a U-shape the V will tip into a corner quicker, while the U will seem more stable.
Could be a pressure, balance or alignment issue.
