Question:

Is my axle broken???????

I have a 2005 pontiac sunfire and my front driver side tire wobbles when i hit 55 mph BUT also it pulls to the passenger side really hard. Any advice will help a whole bunch.

Answer:

your stock intake already snorkles cold air form the fender wall. Not tryn to piss on your parade but makeshift or even ordered cai give you next to no benefit unless your turbo and they put the car at high risk for hydrolocking or filling the engine with water because they are usually routed to low on the front bumper or fender so when you hit even a modest puddle the intake can suck up the water like a straw I've known like 6 people that this happened to and it totally destroyed the engine every time . So think is like 1/2 a horsepower worth bein in danger every time It rains?
it may be but first check the lug nuts and also see if you rim is bent/ when a axle brakes your car will not drive smooth at 5 miles an hour also look for transmmision fluid. You can also turn your wheels all the way right and then left when taking of from a stop, If you hear a poping sound then you may want to get it checked soon
It could be an alignment problem (did you hit a curb hard on that side, perhaps?). Or, it could be that the wheel is out of balance or the tire needs to be replaced. It's not your axle. 1) Check the tire wear.if one side has more tread than the other, that's indicative of an alignment problem. If the tread looks even across the surface where the tire hits the road, then it could be a wheel weight balance issue. If that's the case, take it to a tire place and they'll re-balance your wheel for you.
If the car is moving, the axle is not broken. It could be warped, but not broken. If it was broken, the car wouldn't move at all. Most of the time tire wobble is caused by a bad wheel balance, you may have lost the original balance weights, or you've somehow bent your rims. If it's pulling hard, typically causes are a sticking calliper or poor wheel alignment.
