Is my Motorcycle tire safe to ride on?
The bubble is hard to see from the pics but the chunk missing from the sidewall looks pretty scary. That size, (140/70-17 I'm guessing) isn't nearly as expensive as a hospital stay. If you can get home without using the hi-way, do it regardless of the time loss. The rim should be okay. Good luck.
Should be ok,just keep the speed down,no hard acceleration and avoid potholes etc

My personal opinion is that it should be fine to ride home on, but take it slowly (avoid freeway if you can, like the first respondent suggested), and get it checked out by someone who actually knows what they're talking about (tyre fitting shop) ASAP.
