The best gear for safety is not leather contrary to popular belief but certified with a designation of CE. There are many helmets but the best are full face helmets that protect the jaw. BELL is a very good qaulity helmet. You can get a tinted visor for it also for the very sunny days and it clips on the helmet and you can then clip on the clear one for evening.
