Question:

Is the landlord responsible to have working smoke detectors in the house being rented in Ohio?

Is the landlord responsible to have working smoke detectors in Ohio. I moved in and realized later that there was no smoke detectors and there was a fire. Luckily no one was injured but if it would have been in the middle of the night, it could have been another story as we have no smoke detectors. Is it a law they have to provide smoke detectors. This is a 4 bedroom single family house. Thanks

I think they are making strides to getting a rule like this in the NHL they have already done so for JR and one of the magor complaints about instating manditory visors is that the older players did not grow up wearing them and that it throws them off.. i think once we see enough of the NHLers having had played in JR and minors with maditory visors it will be a rule that is grandfatherd like when you were a kid and you would see i guy playing without a helmet on..
Well there kids, there are possible rule changes in the mix for College level players to use half shields, so I think you will never see this rule of the full face shield. I mean I don't know about when or if it will happen at the college level.
Man, that's ridiculous they fired you for that. I mean maybe I just don't get it because I'm a trucker/mechanic and use profanity all the time but still seems super unfair
The NHLPA will never go for it. The players association would rather it be their choice. Remember, they barely passed the helmet law (and had all players voted it wouldn't have passed) 33 years ago.
Ya got me. I understand most players don't like them because it interferes with their view of the game. Some players coming back from facial injury wear them, or the plexiglas cage, but most prefer to go back to the half-shield or none at all.
