Is there a new reporting/suspension system?
Suspension was never limited to Monday only. Can't imagine why you would think that. Suspension happens as soon as staff finish their review and determine one is needed. It's possible that more of them may happen on Monday if there is reduced staffing over the weekend, of course. Staff may play catch up on Mondays. As for things being removed more quickly, the system does sometimes get backlogged and then gets cleared again. Which might be what you are noticing.
There isnt a new system as far as reporting. I think spam gets reported very fast, as people are sick of it. And Ive noticed, esp with the India Call Girl spamthey are usually suspended before theyve even used up many points. 3-4 posts theyre suspended now In the past, their ads would stay up a couple days. Thats why they continued on. You rarely see it anymore It means someone on Yahoo's end is zapping them pretty fast. Why wait really? Theyre not going to post anything else. I think things have been stepped up at Yahoo's end.
