I am looking for a multi-fuel boiler to replace my current 185k btu oil boiler that is in my basemetn. Does anyone know of one? Coal is a bit more difficult to obtain but I am still looking at the keystoker KB-8 unit. The only problem (besides it being coal) is that it does not have an automatic cut over if I run out of coal. This could be a problem as I travel a bit. Wood is impossible for me to store at my house so I need something I can add bags of X fuel to to it.
Harman makes a wood pellet boiler that also burns corn . you could tie it in tandem to your oil boiler and oil boiler come on if run out of pellets.
