I plan to get a Wii soon enough. I have a ps3 and it doesnt use batteries of course. My question is, the wii uses double A batteries, is there a docking station or rechargable battery dock for my wii remotes when i get them so i wont have to keep buying packs of double A batteries?
There is a rechargeable pack but my recommendation is to get Energizer rechargeable batteries and a 15 minute charger that way if you forget to charge them you can have a spare pair of batteries and when the batteries wear out you just buy a new pack instead of a whole new Wii charging pack. Whether you decide on the batteries or the recharge packs definitely get something rechargeable for the Wii controllers because they suck down batteries like there's no tomorrow.
No there isn't. However, what I did was buy rechargeable batteries. The investment wil be worth it especially if you are getting the wii fit. The balance board takes 4 dbl A's as well.
The answer to your question is yesmany third party developers have made different Wii controller docks. usually selling for $30but I highly recommend using the energizer rechargeable AA batteries. The rechargeable AA's are more universal for different devices, and if one of the third party Wii controller dock batteries goes badyou have to look for that same specific battery. Its a pain in the *** and I had to deal with itI switched to energizers.
Yes there is. It is called a Wii Recharge Station. They can charge two remotes at once. The remotes need Lithium Polymer rechargeable batteries, but I'm sure they come with them. The charge takes about 4 hours, but lasts for 20 or more hours.
