Question:

Is there a smoke detector sensitive enough to alert to second hand smoke from neighbors apartment?

I manage an apartment complex. People are still allowed to smoke in their own home, occasionally a neighbor will claim they smell the smoke seeping through the walls. Is there a smoke detector on the market with a sensitivity level that could detect such smoke?

Answer:

Tradition. For a rather large period of time, in most large cities, the Irish WERE the police and the fire departments. At most military funerals they have the pipers also.
I wouldn't personally get it for them due to it being expensive and kind of a waste of moneybut if safety is a big concern right now, it shouldn't be. It sounds like your child is a newborn/infant, so he/she probably isn't going to be running around a playground/shopping center in the next few months. She'll (or He) outgrow those personalized onesies long before she's old enough to be out of your sight for a second As for the blanket, if it's so nice, why would you want to take it out of the house anyway where it could get lost or dirty? Why not just keep it at the house?
