Question:

Is there a whole house dehumidifier?

I have hot water baseboard heat and our house gets very humid in the winter and will get a lot of condensation on the windows. Is there such a thing as a whole house dehumidifier that will take care of this problem. I have a portable 70 pint dehumidifer, but I have to move it from room to room. I am looking for something that will take care of the humidity in the entire house of about 1500 sq ft, one story. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

Answer:

there is probably a button under your dash or in your glove box that must be used in conjunction with your ignition key. unfortunately all alarms are different . you could try turning the key on and press and hold button for a second or two. Or you can turn key on then off and press the button. thing is you may end up doing something that will shut alarm completely off. so whatever you do be prepared to do it again to reverse whatever action you just started. if that dont work. youll need to go to an alarm shop. now you say 2002 autostart is that the brand of the alarm or the type that it is cause ive never heard of autostart but its been a while since I worked at a shop. but it sounds like a possibleDEI product. but if that is the name of it you can look in the yellow pages for alarm shops and they will usually advertise their brands. call one of them and they may be able to talk you through it. If they are nice guys they will usually reset it for free if you drive there
