Question:

Is there an after-market suspension system that would allow me to lower my car and give a better ride?

I have a 2006 Honda Accord. Accords are notorious for having a relatively rough ride. I have a 6spd MT, which means that the wheels in that package are 17 inches with low-profile tires (I know that contributes to the rough ride). There are two things that bother me:1) The rough ride2) The massive gap between the wheel and the fenderIs there a suspension setup that I can purchase to close up that gap without making the ride rougher than it already is?I want the car to look aggressive without looking ‘ricey‘.

Answer:

I don;t know wht you are talking about. I have driven many Accords. The Honda Accord ride is smoother than most BMW's I have driven. They are very quiet and smooth. Lowering the ride makes it noisier and more rough. There are suspension kits that lower the ride, but not make it more comfortable. If you want a car that is smoother than an Accord, get a Lexus, Acura, or Lincoln Town car.
Eibach Springs and upgrade the struts with ones that are designed to be lowerd if you want to be picky you have to spend a few bucks but its worth it , try Tokicho or however you spell it and dont go to low just enough to take out the gap between the fender and tire just a half inch or so lower in the front then the rear will help get that agressive stance your looking for.
Tein has a kit designed specifically for lowering the car while keeping ride comfort.
