is there an cold air intake that I can buy that fits a 2008 PZEV Ford Focus coupe s and will pass smog in CA Bay area? i purchased the steeda cold air intake and it fits other than the heat shield and mounting box but my check engine light went on and i am also looking for a clutch, I am considering a stage one clutch and if anyone knows where i can get an exhaust that will fit my PZEV model that would be great

cold air intakes do not give 50 horsepower increases, and do not save 5 miles per gallon of gas, in fact most of these sewerpipe with air filters are not cold air intakes at all. Look at your car intake now. See how it goes over to your inner fender? Now think? hmm that sure looks like a cold air filter to me? what do you think? Before wasting your money on worthless crap, please ask your mechanic if this will help your car in any way. We get complaints often for check engine lights and computer problems with both the intake and those crap power chips, The reason is simple, it does not help. A stock engine is already producing as much horsepower as it can take, anything you do to make it work harder, also makes it blow up sooner, and if your car is under warranty, they instantly void it as soon as they see a cold air filter, or a fake power chip. So save your money on those fake power chips too, a stock engine does not benifit from any aftermarket chips. once again, ask your mechanic. keep the money in your pocket 600 dollars buys a lot of gas.
