Good Point: It does show a lack of Faith.I was just told that about 10 years ago durring a massive storm on the east coast that asswipe Pat Robertson got on his TV station and started praying away the storm He also had a huge, expensive statue moved inside a building, Just in case.
Just tell them the truth and tell them you know now that it's a fire hazard to do it. They should understand. If they're not understanding types just tell them the lamp must have had the wrong bulb in it and it melted, and put the blanket under another blanket so they don't see the holes.
