Question:

Is this a career stopper? Or just a speed bump?

I am in middle management (GM) for a fortune 500. I have been here for a year, I have done very wellturned the market around and my new boss is already hitting me up to move on. He wants me to move to a very major market and fix it. I can't movekids and spouses job etc. Am I stupid for turning it down and possibly hurting my career? It's more money etcbut I just can't go.

Answer:

A) Well I hope you know what a wave looks like (like a sine function). The crest would be any of the high points on the wave, the troughs are any of the low points, the wave length is the horizontal distance between similar points in the wave (ie the distance from one trough to another trough or the distance from one crest to another crest ), and the amplitude is the distance from the crest (or trough) to the vertical midpoint of the wave (the point that is equal distant from the height of the crest to the depth of the trough). B) The formula for wavelength is λv/f where λ is the wavelength, v is the velocity and f is the frequency. For the purpose of your class, you're probably going to assume that v is the speed of light, so that is a constant so we can make the relationship λ~1/f The original wave length is 600m so 600~1/f, solve for f and you get f~1/600 It is shortened to 400m so 400~1/f, solve for f and you get f~1/400 Now do (1/400)/(1/600) which equals 3/2. Therefore, that reduction in wavelength will increase the frequency by 3/2. c) I'm pretty sure that air will slightly decrease the velocity of a wave. Since usually the velocity used for a wave is the speed of light c but that is taken in a vacuum. So if there is air, it will slow down a little.
the correct part name is power door lock actuators.
Whether they all would go off depends on air flow and interconnection. Call the plumbing company you have called, make sure the tech they are sending has a portable oxygen tester like one used in vaults (man-holes). If you intend to occupy then ventilate, although it may be best to vacate until the plumber gets there, you could be wasting your time if you ventilate or change conditions such that the plumber has to try to recreate conditions causing the alarm.
