Okay, I don't know what the heck nu-metal is...people classify so many bands as nu-metal and those bands all sound different! So tell me, is this nu-metal?
Epic Metal huh? I'd have to go with Dimmu Borgir, I could like get-off to Progenies of The Great Appocalypse. lol. If you consider Dragonforce as like metal kind of, they're pretty epic, I love Fury Of The Storm, Starfire, and Through The Fire And Flames So I choose Epic Metal. Sorry I didn't put that on the first time.
Power Metal of course, I love fantastical sounding music.
i would have to pick power , but I'm not sure how much difference is between the two, all the break-down on metal is really starting to get confusing, i just listen and enjoy what i like anymore ,,,, but good question
I have to go with Power metal just for the simple fact that I'm also not that familiar with Epic Metal ~ sorry :( Also, I have to admit that the whole 'genre' thing is getting really confusing to me. SPEED METAL / POWER METAL~ are they not the same? I'm only curious ~ it has never occured to me to categorize the music I like into specific genres...until recently ;) ;) ;)
Power Metal has a lot of epic influences with the sound. But I dunno about Epic Metal. I mean I've heard of the genre and it sounds like Power Metal to me but I don't know enough bands to actually decide which is better. So I lean more on Power Metal since it used to be a favorite genre of mine before.
