is vermiculite safe for beardies to lay eggs in?

i have a female beardie who i think is pregnant again , shes been digging for a couple of days, i just wanted to know whats the best substrate i can use, this is her second clutch the last ones unfortunately did not make it, and she also didnt lay them in the box we made for her she just layed them out on the floor, not quite sure what i should do... please help

yes, its a good idea to reuse the soil.
Absolutely, they will both contribute to the compost and make for a nice soil when you finally use it. I'm sure you know to put it about 5 inches under and water it.
