Is your computer fast enough to preform the task you like to do?
Yep. I've just built my rig as a games machine, and it performs that task beautifully.

Yes, as long as I use XP. If I use Vista on the same machine the performance is badly hurt.
The speed of a computers computational powers are not relevent to intelligence. A computer can calulcate math 100000000000000x faster then you because a computer can serial process. A biological brain is not good at serial processing. Human intelligence comes from extreme parrallel computing, which computers are not good it. It will take a very long time for a computer to be able to do something like walk, talk, and answer how was your day at the same time, like you can.
