The store told us it was a boy, but this morning it turned out to be a girl, there were two in the tank, and and im guesing the other was a boy. We have no clue what to do with these eggs. were not prepared at all. what should we do?
Well it depends on what you want to do. If you don't want to hatch them just throw them away.If you do well here is some info on what to do with them. If you were planning to breed her in the future this might help a little to get things going, and learn from your mistakes when incubating leo eggs (like I did). Okay get a little container like a rubber maid container if you don't mind using it. Buy some vermiculite from your store or home depot(but they might sell the whole big bag for $3). You put water in the vermiculite in by weight 1:1 ratio is what I do to mine.Make sure you mix it in so the water goes down to the bottom. Make sure you spray it when it get a little dry. Okay you can or can't buy a incubator. If you have only 2 eggs and you don't plan to breed her again just put it some where it around 85-88 degrees Fahrenheit will give you male to female hatchlings. People like to put them in the laundry room its humid and warm. The humidity should be around 60- and below 80%. Depending on the temperature your eggs should hatch between 30 to 105 days. So when they are born make sure you don't hold them at all they can become very stressed, don't help them out of the egg just wait and patients is required. They won't eat until they shed and they will eat a couple of pinhead crickets. I don't recommend giving them mealworms until they are a little older they have a hard time digesting them when they are young, but will be fine when they are older. Also spray down a little so they can get a drink but not until they are done shedding. They can die of dehydration if not given water. So good luck!! :) Hope I helped!
relax. whilst eggs rot like that, they have been infertile. it somewhat is fairly basic interior the 1st pairs of eggs. no longer something you will have carried out. I style of trust the poster above. Breeding leos in basic terms isn't rewarding except you're turning out to be to be to be attentive to three uncommon mutations. yet once you hit upon a mom pop keep which could take them you should be interior the gravy. in basic terms remember that they had ought to compete with Petco Petsmart, who usually sell them for $20.
