i have been a hairstylist six years and have gone through many flat irons and CHI is the best! well worth the money and they dont only last a year that's how long the warranty is .i use the hell out of mine at work and ive had the same one for 2 years.
RachMeist is right, I use a Solia tourmaline iron. Chi irons are good, but they only last one year. GHD, and Sedu are pretty good continders. Remember you get what you pay for.
Chi is a really good brand of a straightener. but i have a Remington Wet2Straight also, and it works much better.
