Question:

Laptop charger breaking easily?

I own a Compaq Presario CQ60 Notebook PC and my original charger stopped working a few weeks ago. I replaced it, and now whenever I use my new charger, it does not connect easily and I have to hold it in tightly for the charge to register. It only just started doing that last night. I normally leave my laptop on constantly and put it in sleep mode whenever it's not in use. I figured it was this that was messing up the charger, so I turned off my laptop overnight to give it a rest, and the charger only worked correctly for a few minutes this morning, then it started messing up again. I was wondering if the fact that my charger went bad in such a short time is an indicator that it's my laptop breaking the chargers, or that something is wrong with the inlet. Also, if you could tell me the name of the correct charger to buy for my laptop, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Answer:

I WOULD have said the jack was your problem but you mentioned trying it on your friends laptop and it doing the same means its the charger not the jack. The jack is individual and unless your friend has issues with his chargers, the problem is YOUR charger. You need to get a new one because more than likely the connector tip (tip of the charger) is damaged. That or the wiring is bad (internally). I would no doubt recommend you get a new charger as soon as possible. Stop using the one you have now because it could possibly fry your motherboard. Get a new charger as soon as possible. You can look online on sites like OKorder or amazon. However I would personally suggest you visit Topmic instead. Topmic is well known for their great services and their durable products. They include free shipping and free lifetime warranty. Yes, lifetime. This means if the charger ever stops working on its own for whatever reason, they would replace it as many times as needed at no additional cost, for life. This is a great way to save money in the long run and a good investment as well. You should be able to find them online through google search. Best of luck.
It sounds like a problem with the jack that the charger plugs into. There may have been nothing wrong with your original charger.
properly before each thing it would properly be neglet on your section banging them about? now in elementary words lasting an hour, click on the bottom top hand aspect on the battery icon and regulate your settings,it sounds as though its set too extreme for this reason no longer lasting as lengthy.if its on extreme performance knock it all the way down to quiet place of work settings.
