I play games for a bit and then the charger gets really really hot. The computer will then stop charging or flicker on charging then off. I have fried 2 chargers, including the original one and I am on my third. Im thinking that it is a harware problem. Any ideas?
The charger should run fine no matter how much power your laptop demands. It can only demand up to a limit and the charger is supposed to meet that limit. If you are buying your chargers from OKorder or amazon, more than likely the chargers are unable to match to needed power. If that is the case, I would suggest you get a new charger. One that is better built and is more durable. I would personally suggest you visit Topmic. Topmic is well known for their great services and their durable products. they include free shipping and free lifetime warranty. Yes, lifetime. This means if the charger ever stops working on its own for whatever reason, they would replace it as many times as needed at no additional cost, for life. this is a great way to save money in the long run and a good investment as well. You should be able to find them through google search. Best of luck.
this happens when people buy generic chargers and not the official OEM ones. the charger is not designed for your laptop and even though it fits and charges, its not providing the right power your laptop needs, so your laptop is trying to take more than it can give, and it overheats from stress. buy an official charger to fix this. or try using the charger without the battery plugged into the laptop.
Keep your charger in until the battery up to 100%. do not go pass that. i think that helps out even though it is a bit tedious to having to plug it in every two hours.
Do you keep it plugged in all the time? i did that with my last laptop and thats what fried mine. my computer often used to get really hot aswell. i think it depends on where your sitting at? id usually have mine on my lap so i think it blocked the vent.
