Question:

Leak from upstairs apartment. No hotel while they are doing work. What should the landlord do?

On December 1st 2007 we entered our apartment after being at the doctors office. While we were walking up to the door we heard smoke detectors going off inside of our apartment so I entered the apartment to check for smoke or any abnormal smell within. I found nothing and proceeded to the hallway of the apartment when I stepped in a puddle of water located under the return vent. I looked up and noticed water dripping from the return vent on to the floor (carpet) of the apartment. I then proceeded down the hallway and noticed another puddle of water on the floor (carpet) below the hallway light. I then proceeded into the bathroom and noticed a large puddle of water on the bathroom floor (linoleum) coming from the exhaust fan and heat light. At this time the smoke detectors were still going off so I proceeded into the small bedroom and found water leaking from the electrical problem. The landlord had a team come by to rip up the carpet in 3 rooms.Should I get a discount on rent? HELP

Answer:

go /homeper/ they have a check list that you can print off for what you need at the hospital and what the baby needs. You should also make sure you have a car seat and all the baby cloths you have, have been pre-washed with baby detergent to take out all the irritants . I am 33weeks along my second pregnancy and the only thing left to do is give birth the last couple of weeks will pass by really fast.
You can, given that you have them secured. But in time, they may rust and stain your clothing. Sometimes they can come loose. Even though it's so much trouble reattaching them, I would remove them. But this is my own opinion and have seen the problems above take place when the wife left safety pins on her clothing.
The beep is a low battery warnining. Just buy a name brand battery, nothing special.
