Halloween?What did you go out as?Mine was pretty awesome.I went out as a chulo, and like 10 of my friends were my chonga's so it was hilarious.I went out for like 4 hours and got like 4 garbage bags full of candy then at 12 my friends and I went to a party.I got hit on a lot though, some girls actually thought I was was a guy haha and I got like 6 phone numbers :o.How was yours?
Actually, it is a moot point. We don't have a shuttle anymore.
The fire dept runs pretty much the same as any fire dept except they also have military training which is more extensive. However, they are also called upon to function at events such as the last flight for a pilot before they PCS or retire. Since the pilot is hosed, they have to be on duty for those types of things too. Family life is the same as any military member. He will deploy, go TDY, PCS, etc. It depends on which command he is under as to how much he will deploy. He also faces the same dangers as any firefighter. But since their training is more involved, they rarely get hurt fighting fires. And fires are less frequent on installations because of all the safety requirements and inspections. They keep tight control over that.
