Question:

Light decays exponentially from source to detector because?

Light decays exponentially from source to detector because?

Answer:

Well, the guy that fixed it should fix it again, with a decent quality heavy-duty brass valve. In the meantime, you can find a hose attachment at the garden section of the hardware store that has a turn-off valve. They come in singles and y types, usually two or three inches long, in either brass or plastic. Attach that to the end of your hose bib to keep it from dripping..
Very good. And I love your turn the hose on hell point. Too funny. I'd add one more spash of water, if I may Ezekiel 18:4 - The soul that is sinning, it itself will DIE, not burn in hell forever but DIE. The soul is mortal.
In many countries it is a legal building requirement, so they should keep the law, just like everyone else. But in lots of poor countries, there are no lightning rods on any of the poor peoples' shacks and homes, yet they can have more lightning that elsewhere in the world. It's not about faith in God, however, because if it was noticed that no Christian churches were ever struck by lightning, and none of them had lightning rods, people would think, Hey! I like the perks in being a Christian! I'm going to become a Christians because then I will never be struck by lightning. And then we'd see far, far more golfers dying on the golf course, or on the water in boats etc. Why? Because they would have become Christians for all the wrong reasons - personal benefits. God isn't fooled. He does not offer Christians special protection against living in this world. He calls those who will love Him because of His great love for them in providing the way of forgiveness and eternal salvation. He doesn't want every Tom, Fred and Harry joining a sort of club because of status or perks. Christians take their chances with lightning, like everyone else. The sensible ones respect the elements and don't take risks.
Could it be that the fire of hell is symbolic of total destruction? YES! The Bible separates the fire from Hades, or hell: Death and Hades were hurled into the lake of fire. The lake mentioned here is symbolic, since death and hell (Hades) that are thrown into it cannot literally be burned. This [lake of fire] means the second death—death from which there is no hope of coming back to life.—Revelation 20:14. Also, the Bible says that hell is eventually emptied! Revelation 20:13 states: The sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Hades gave up those dead in them. Yes, the Bible hell will be emptied. As Jesus promised, the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear [Jesus'] voice and come out. (John 5:28, 29) Although no longer presently existing in any form, millions of dead ones who are in Jehovah's memory will be resurrected, or brought back to life, in a restored earthly paradise.—Luke 23:43; Acts 24:15. There is no need to fear hellfire. A God of love would never even consider doing that.
It is interesting that a much higher percentage of people believe in the existence of heaven than believe in the existence of hell. According to the Bible, though, hell is just as real as heaven. The Bible clearly and explicitly teaches that hell is a real place to which the wicked/unbelieving are sent after death. We have all sinned against God (Romans 3:23). The just punishment for that sin is death (Romans 6:23). Since all of our sin is ultimately against God (Psalm 51:4), and since God is an infinite and eternal Being, the punishment for sin, death, must also be infinite and eternal. Hell is this infinite and eternal death which we have earned because of our sin. The punishment of the wicked dead in hell is described throughout Scripture as “eternal fire” (Matthew 25:41), “unquenchable fire” (Matthew 3:12), “shame and everlasting contempt” (Daniel 12:2), a place where “the fire is not quenched” (Mark 9:44-49), a place of “torment” and “fire” (Luke 16:23-24), “everlasting destruction” (2 Thessalonians 1:9), a place where “the smoke of torment rises forever and ever” (Revelation 14:10-11), and a “lake of burning sulfur” where the wicked are “tormented day and night forever and ever” (Revelation 20:10). The punishment of the wicked in hell is as never ending as the bliss of the righteous in heaven. Jesus Himself indicates that punishment in hell is just as everlasting as life in heaven (Matthew 25:46). The wicked are forever subject to the fury and the wrath of God. Those in hell will acknowledge the perfect justice of God (Psalm 76:10). Those who are in hell will know that their punishment is just and that they alone are to blame (Deuteronomy 32:3-5). Yes, hell is real. Yes, hell is a place of torment and punishment that lasts forever and ever, with no end. Praise God that, through Jesus, we can escape this eternal fate (John 3:16, 18, 36).
